    MROs reliability/durability

Since the mro has been out for a while now and a success so far.
Have any of you guys had issues with it at all? Other than installing batteries wrong breaking the lil tabs.

Im asking because one youtuber (truexodus) is using one and he shoots alot and has been having issues with his mro working properly.

    Mine's been fine

Use it on a duty rifle, purchased it Dec 2016, it is mounted on an AR and has gone through 500-600 rounds each training or qualification session (~20+ range sessions a year), it gets bumped around and is not baby'ed, but has not been abused. Initially had it on the supplied 1/3rd lower cowitness mount that it came with (held zero perfectly), later switched to a Scalarworks absolute co-witness mount (also holding zero perfectly).

I turn it off when I put it away, IIRC since 2016 I've changed the battery maybe twice? Have never actually killed the battery despite it being left on 4-12 hours at a time, I just change it preemptively every year just to be safe since it is on a duty rifle. Never had a problem w/ dot brightness over time or unexpected shut offs, dot very visible even on the brightest range day. Dot looks great even w/ an Eotech 3x magnifier (minimal elongation of the dot from being perfectly round). NVG compatible modes work well w/ NODS. And as noted before it has held zero perfectly -- I confirm zero a couple times a year (50/200yd zero) and I haven't had to adjust zero at all in the last 2.5 years since getting it zero'ed initially.

    Great optic. Solid Trijicon construction.

YMMV but mine has been flawless and I have no doubt that if there are any issues Trijicon will make it right.

Mine broke, posted about it a while back. Trijicon replaced it.

Tend to go towards trijicon products. Solid built and clear glass. I own two 1x4 accupoint scopes and a MRO. MRO has been through a number of classes and not lost zero with the last 3000 rounds. Dot is plenty bright in the brightest days in the desert. I do prefer the 1x4 scope but the MRO is a solid product. I prefer absolute zero mounts.

I have 2, 1 on my PCC rifle and the other on a 3 gun AR..

Both have held up fine. Both have 1000's of rounds under then, they have been barrel dumped dozens of times, and transported all over. If I need another red dot I would not hesitate to get another...
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

Had the MRO on a duty rifle since 2016, always leave it on, battery was still working when I changed it last year. Seen 2000+ rounds and isn't babied. But I also have Aimpoint and Eotech and those have worked flaw.
