SKS Sling relocation, Front Sight issues

I have a Chinese Norinco 7.62x39 SKS. The Chinese stock was at least 4" too short and the inability to reach the trigger while gripping the stock with my fingers led me to buy a Tapco T6 stock set (and misc 922r bits). I also have TS-200 rear sights.

I'm interested in any advice to address the following shortcomings in order of importance:

    1) The front sling mount is way too far up the stock. I have been using electrical tape to tape the sling just forward of the fixed magazine hinge. I'd like to figure out a way to attach something like an M-16 clip style sling at that point so that I can cram my forward hand in there so it doesn't move during recoil, yet be able to remove the sling from the rifle and keep it attached to my arm.

    2) Williams Firesight. I don't recommend it. Just tightening the screw enough to keep it from wobbling makes the sight cock to one side. I tried shimming it with aluminum strips from a Coke can, but it is still a bit off and I'm not sure I can slide any more in there. Anyone else fix this?

    3) The T6 still feels an inch too short at max extension while in a sitting position. This stock is great, but I have to have the sleeves let out on my 42Long suits, so I pretty sure it's just me that needs to be shortened. Any ideas? Rubber pad maybe?

    4) Maybe a nitpick, but I think the aperture on the TS-200 is too large. Any thoughts on how to shrink it? They don't appear to sell a smaller aperture.

For what it's worth - I use a limbsaver pad on both of my SKS's. I found that it increased the LOP enough for me to make it comfortable. I think these SKS's must have been designed with the idea that the shooter would have some big old winter coat on, cuz I agree, the stocks are little too short.
