Have built on Mega, and Kaiser Defense.
I like the fit, and finish of both. Both function perfectly.
For the next one (when the AK's are done) I would probably do as suggested eariler in this thread, and save the cash for the rest of the build by buying an Essential Arms lower. Dupli-color 500 is cheap, and easy to apply if I am not happy with the finish. So long as it's built to spec it doesn't make a difference to me.

I agree to, but why doesn't someone else make a sweet lower like this? Magpul made a great prodct but they aren't doing anything with it. I've seen a mega with ribbing or something on the front of the magwell, I think I saw a sundevil with integral trigger guard. Put them together with a quality manufacturer and you have your magpul "style" lower.

I agree. You think more manufacturers would want to make something similar. There are plenty of us that would like to buy a nice billet lower, But can't find one

I may be wrong, but I believe that POF manufactured that lower for Magpul. If you don't care about price and want a quality lower, I would take a look at POF.

I have a variety of lowers from different manufacturers. The only one I can't stand are the Stags. Not because they are poor quality, but because of that deer head logo on the side of it. It just kills it for me. That's probably why they put it there, so it wouldn't look so "evil". Now if there wasn't the broad selection of lowers that we have to choose from, they would be great!

                    You are correct...

No need for "yet another" company to copy Magpul's design...

Magpul lower is made by POF and is just another POF lower just w/ a nicer trigger guard design....

POF's one sucks tho... I can't stand their curvy trigger guard...

Most people thought that the Magpul is unique.... but the only unique part is the Magpul logo.... yet, I still spent quite a bit to acquire my Magpul MPL-A lower.... just cuz.... there are ONLY 100 of them in public's hands... and it will probably stay that way (Noveske do not have anymore of Magpul's lowers, hence there won't be anymore "limited" edition rifles)

Colt makes the best. But for OLL's, Mega lowers have the waffle-grip, which is nice. Anvil Arms lowers have a nice fit/finish to them. And POF's are great, but you'll pay for them. There are lots of forged lowers out there, most will fit with an upper just fine. It's the finish that might not be up to par on some.

I just ordered one of these (not cheap), made by Seekins Precision.

His scope rings are really well made, so I'm expecting the fit/finish on these will be superb.

Haha, I know everyone hates Vulcan! But I have had one for a few years now and I still love it.I currently have a Del-Ton,Vulcan,CMMG and a Spikes on the way I have de-horned the Vulcan and Dura-Coated it and by far the nicest lower I have and it has fit DPMS,RRA,Del-Ton uppers with no slpo and or problems. The only problem I have ever had was when I used crappy mags!

I've built Stagg and Kaiser and shot / inspected many others including Colt, Spikes, Noveske and I like the Kaiser as well as any and better than all for the $$$'s
