CMC trigger problem. Need help!

First time building a 308 AR and I'm having an issue with the CMC two stage trigger I recently purchased and installed. Rifle is still not complete. Just waiting on a barrel.... Trigger was installed no problem Seems to work fine in lower with no upper attached. Then when I mated the upper receiver to the lower and attempted to pull the charging handle and lock open the bolt carrier, the bolt carrier is getting stuck on the top of the hammer when I pull it back. I cannot lock the bolt carrier back due to the hammer interference. The bolt carrier jams on the hammer and wont go back all the way. Has anyone seen this problem before?

Here are some specs on my build
Lower: TM-308 DPMS style lower. Not an 80% (it's about 8 years old)
LPK: CMMG 308 lpk
Bolt carrier: JP LMOS Bolt carrier

So I pulled the CMC trigger out of my lower and installed the CMMG trigger that came with the lower parts kit and no problems. Bolt carrier locks back unimpeded. No problems. I then took the CMC trigger and installed it in a AR15 lower I had and again, no problems. Bolt cycles fine. For some reason it's not working in my TM-308 lower. Any ideas as to why?

The barrel is necessary to make the bolt unlock properly.
