Featureless because standard/improved capacity magazines are worth it

Here is my featureless build, because standard/improved capacity magazines are worth it. Doesn't look good, but functions like a charm. Waiting on my KingComp and Oppressor from strike industries.

*edit* I got to admit it doesn't look half bad(not ugly) sporting the Strike Industries Oppressor. I haven't fired using the KingComp or Oppressor, I did however fire it without any muzzle attachment and I was pleasantly surprised how natural it pointed and handled. There was times where I forgot this was a featureless rifle. Here is a pic,

I’ve gotten used to the look and feel af my AKs and ARs with the fin grips but gotta admit they do look a lot better with a standard capacity magazine in place.

It's really to bad we have no option to make the AR Pistol featureless. I would do it in a heartbeat to get the standard magazine release.

I hear you, Hogue Freedom Fighter and a Juggernaut Tactical Hellfighter Rear Pin is your best option.

The Resurgent Arms version comes with a few rubber bands to place onthose sharp pieces.

                      I transitioned 2 times now...

Was standard BB AR-15 (M&P Sport II stock). Converted to non-assaulty featureless: Mil-Spec A2 stock, Linnear Comp, Monster Man grip.

Then, went with fixed magazine via the Patriot Mag release. Kept everything featureless except converted back to the stock pistol grip.

Now, with my SCM on the way, I converted back to featureless with the MM grip. Glad the Patriot Mag release has an easy way to convert back to a regular mag release by backing out the screw.

May get the Thordsen stock in the future. I don't shoot it often, so it kinda doesn't matter a whole lot to me.

Not bad looking - in this state anyway! What stock is that? Did you pin, or is it fixed?

I built mine with the strike industries Mega Fin grip with the thumb shelf and it handles great. I can easily hold the rifle with my right hand only.

How do you like that grip on yours?

I do like the thumb shelf on that thing. It's a toss-up, for me, between the Mega Fin & the Sparrow D. What did you choose for your safety selector?

No it does not, especially if you roll your thumb over like a traditional sporting/hunting stock. A grip like you would get from a Kel-Tec RDB-C.

If that doesn't make sense, when I get home will post a pic.

I'm running the seeking ambi short throw safety with the SI megafin. I can keep my left hand up front and manipulate the safety right thumb and trigger finger as needed.

shorty on the shelf side, 60* throw
