What are good AK Mags to buy?

Hate to start a thread that will pointless in few days but we have the chance to buy now I don't want to waste money on crap.

So what manufacture makes good, reliable AK mags?

lmao, I've been scouring the threads looking for recommendations. Summary seems to be anything made outside the US / especially classic combloc mags, also the Magpul AK mags are solid apparently.

Bulgarian Circle 10 for 7.62x39, Izhmash and Tula are just as good. Steelies, esp East Germans, are nice, but heavy
Bulgarian Circle 10 for 5.45x39, Izhmash is a tie, Circle 21 is a close second
Bulgarian Circle 10 for 5.56x45.

The Magpul steel reinforced AK PMAGs are just as good (if not better) than the Circle 10's. Cheaper too.

I use the Arsenal 10 rounders and Bulgarian mags exclusively in multiple AK's without any problems. Polymer Bulgarian slab sides and Bulgarian steel ribbed. There is a slight thickness difference between the 30's and 40's but not enough to cause anything more than a little tighness/slop depending on what you use them in. I buy my AK mags from Supplying Patriots here in CA, their customer service has been great and i have had nothing but excellent experiences. These of course are for my Home Defense/range toy AK's so i don't care if they are steel/polymer.

Hey man, I am not an attorney, but I really don't think that "they" will be changing anything as of Monday. This thing has to go to the 9th circuit for them to decide against the Benitez ruling and I really don't think that will be happening for some time.

The circle 10s imho are the best hands down but pretty expensive for a magazine.
Hard to beat surplus steel mags.
Pmags are pretty good now too
