    M1A Replacement Barrel

I am in the market for a new barrel for my shot out scout. I am definitely getting a 18.5" barrel, and hopefully something NM grade. I know Fulton-Armory makes a "bush barrel", and will install it at no cost. Any suggestions/reviews for the Fulton or other manufactures?

LRB sells 18.5" Criterion-made barrels for $199, but I don't know if they have them available. They also have a medium weight 18.5" barrel too.

Dexter, how many rounds did you put through your scout? just wondering how many I have to go before I need to change mine! Did your accuracy just go south on you? Fulton products are supposed to be really good!

I would have to say I have about 7k rounds or so down range with my scout. The accuracy did indeed go south, from groups to patterns at 200. I like to think it is the rifle and not me who is getting less accurate.
