Hello all. I've been looking into picking up a Barrett M82 in 416 for a few years now and just came across a Turner's sale for a killer package. What do you make of this?

I feel as if this is a deal considering the case of ammo and $1000 scope.

If you can afford it go for it. May need a little higher end scope than a $1k scope for a rifle that can reach out that far.

Yeah, doesn't make sense to have a long gun and a short scope.

Not a fan of 416 (ive had one), Its very expensive to reload, but if you are buying factory ammo then thats not an issue. if you are getting it just as a range blaster, go for it, if you are actually wanting to get into precision long range, there is much better out there.
