Anyone remember the Ruger XGI from lotsa years back ?

XGI...I think that was Ruger's attempt to develop a .308 version of the Mini-14. They abandoned this effort after a couple of years work in the mid 1980's. I like both Ruger Mini-14's / 30's and ARs. No bias with me. I have fun whenever I shoot either.
