AR reciever sets

I'm planning 6.5 Grendel build and I'm trying to figure out which receivers to go with.

I've already built two budget ARs with mismatching parts that I've collected over time. On this build I'll be using a match barrel so I'd like to have a better fit than on my loose and rattly Frankenstein rifles.

I'd like to get a matched gen3 Novoske set but I'd also like to save some money and put it toward better glass. So this brings me to the gen1 sets.

Being that gen1 Noveskes are forged, how does a Spikes or Aero set compare to the fit of a gen1? Are the Spikes and Areo sets factory matched or do they just come paired?

Also, does installing a hellfighter or kingpin kit mess with the fit of the receivers?

I have Spike's and Aero lowers. I like the M4E1 Aero because it has set screws to retain the rear takedown spring, and also has a threaded bolt catch pin hole. It does have a solid trigger guard though, and that is undesirable to some people. I like the threaded bolt catch pin hole for fixed mags. The Aero M4E1 does have a screw under the grip to tighten the upper. the upper to lower match though, doesn't do anything accuracy wise on an AR

Usually, the more expensive matched sets come fitted to each other

I second the Aero sets , for the price you can get a good upper/lower combo. Id also look at their enhanced uppers to make it easy to throw on a rail. Ive bought an upper/lower set before and have had no issues with it after 2k rounds
