Shot my buddies Serbu in 50BMG a few days ago. Its a great shooting gun, the recoil is about like 12 gauge slugs so it not bad but the muzzle blast from the break is like running into a door.

He also had his Cheyenne Tactical Windrunner, now that's a cool 50!

Definately a nice work of art... its on sale for $6,000 if you want one

Ok seems like 20 is going to be our magic number. Thats quite a few, considering this is a 2k+ setup. Ill see what kind of GB price we can get going off 20+ people.

How does one have a "Cheyenne Tactical Windrunner in 50"? Cheyenne Tactical refers to 408 Chey Tac (Cheyenne Tactical) round. So, it can't be a 50 cal Cheyenne Tac? Perhaps you are confused. EDM builds rifles in a few calibers, including 50BMG and 408 Chey Tac.

I suppose it is possible....
EDM did build the CheyTac guns in other calibers and many were returned for non-payment when CheyTac/LRB got into trouble. The .408CT was supposed to be their bread'n butter, but they did experiment with their own bullet designs in other calibers as well.
I don't know if they're specifically marked as CheyTac guns, but any of the big receiver EDMs can be changed to other chamberings by swapping the barrel and bolt.

Hmm, since CA doesn't want me having 50BMG, I would REALLY like to go for that 20mm rifle. Unfortunately, I think the feds AND state might have issues with it...

They're CA-legal, as they are not rifles!

Just keep the ammo belts to 10rds.

Is this really true? I looked into buying one before the ban but passed because of the cost. I thought they fell under the ban. I would love to have one but they are big $$$$ but if they arent banned yet I may set that as a goal.
