Interest? 50 DTC Group Buy? - Poll

Ok so ive been chatting with Alan about a group buy for the Serbu 50 BFG off and on today. Before anything is present to Mark Serbu, is there ANY interest in a group buy for a BFG? Im game for one, and will more than likely be picking one up regardless. If we can get a discount on a Group Buy.. then of course we should all go in at the same time. I myself will probably want the larger 36" barrel over the 29". For Group Buy purposes, however, it will be the standard 29"

If this sounds interesting to you, please let me know. Obviously there is no sale section here, so it will be hosted on the other forums. Below is a picture of the beast - taken directly from Mark Serbu's webpage. The specs of the monster is also directly taken from Mark Serbu's page - which is also linked in this thread. To read more about the BFG, please visit Marks webpage.

Edit: A Yes vote would also include the comments of "Yes, also depends on price of actual discount"

Edit x2: If you did vote yes, please make sure to post that you interested. This way im not counting you twice (since I have the up on the other forums as well).

Caliber: .50 BMG (California-legal .50 DTC also available)
    Action: Single-Shot
Length: 51.5" standard, 58" for 36" barrel, carbine is 44"
Weight: 22 lbs for 29.5" std BBL, 32 lbs for 36.0" heavy BBL, 17 lbs for 22.0" carbine
Barrel: Match grade alloy steel, 1:15 twist, 29.5" (22.0" carbine), custom taper - many options available
Muzzle Brake: Highly Effective "Shark Brake". Engraving on muzzle face, $25 extra
Fire Control: AR-15 trigger and safety, custom hammer, spring-loaded firing pin. Average trigger pull is 4.0 lbs
Scope Mount: Screwed-on Picatinny rail. Optional 30MOA base is $25 extra.
Bipod: Custom BFG-50 bipod available (shown above)

The California legal version is not .50BMG, its .510 DTC.

        Please, calm down.

          Maybe.

I'm still pondering the Barrett 416.

Thats what im trying to find out from the poll. I was going to include something like that in the poll itself - something like "Yes - depends on actual price".

Right now your looking at $2195.
When I see how this poll goes, Ill shoot it over to Alan.. and we will take it from there

I'm interested, price depending.. The more of a discount, the more I'm interested

Would be nice if the order was large enough to give a significant discount - might even pick up 2

I would love to, unfortunatly AR + AK builds + ammo anda college student budget puts any non standard calibers (like this) out of my reach for now.

Commercial Ammo is being loaded in Oklahoma - I dont know much more about that though. You can check out the serbu forums for more info, but ... these are mostly handloads - which means ill need extra equipment. Dyes are available, they can be had from CH4D (again more info in the Serbu forums). Im pretty much jumping the gun (no pun intended haha) on this buy. Its more of .. I see.. I want.. I buy.

Shot my buddies Serbu in 50BMG a few days ago. Its a great shooting gun, the recoil is about like 12 gauge slugs so it not bad but the muzzle blast from the break is like running into a door.

He also had his Cheyenne Tactical Windrunner, now that's a cool 50!

                            where are my pistol mags?
