General consensus on these is: illegal in California do to having a barrel shroud. Very cool if you're not in California and don't already own a PCC.

the barrel shroud is a assumption.

the reason given to the glock store in san diego from their DOJ rep, as was told to me by employee there was that the front grip area counts as a "forward grip" on a pistol, which violates pistol AW law.

I don't understand how gun stores in California are selling them, then?

I'd like one but they seem overpriced.

Will an 80% fit in it?

I have a hard time finding the utility in these. Since it is not a stock its not really a PCC and why put an arm brace on something that isn't all that difficult to to shoot one handed.

cause the arm brace is really a SBR work-around. the CAA guys stuck it on this cause that is the thing to do now for anything "pistol". the CAA initially came out with a stock version, but it required a tax stamp iirc before you can place a pistol inside. but with the "arm brace" they can sell to much more users since no more tax stamp needed.

people may give me flack for it, but that is what these damn braces are now. just a way for people to have an SBR without paying the tax stamp. it is super obvious when the ATF had changed their ruling about shouldering a brace, before changing it back again. everyone got all indignant and up in arms and pitchfork mob mode in the free states.

This, and while on their website it says they can not sell them in CA I have not seen a gunshow yet where GS wasn't pushing them like crazy.

Where does it say that? I looked and couldn't find any mention of not shipping these to Cali. It only says they won't ship over 10 round mags and mag repair kits (that I could find).

I got all the way to the 'Place Order' page with a CA shipping address. Seems like they sell here???
