    PTR 9R

PTR has announced the addition of the PTR 9R to their 9mm roller lock line up. This is great for CA and offers another 9mm rifle with the addition of grip wrap and 10 round mag would be legal. We hope to see the PTR line of firearms grow in models over the next few years !

Too bad I was born with human hands. You need fingers like E.T. to operate the safety.

Hey Atlantic, how would buying one of these from you work? Would you install the fin grip and supply the 10 round mag if we asked for it, or would you have to ship this to a middle-man FFL to do the conversion?

Atlantic will likely take care of all that for you and ship to your ffl. They know the in ca laws and extremely supportive of us behind the iron curtain. You would be in good hands purchasing from Atlantic.

I bought my PTRs from Atlantic.

The process is super easy. Take this PTR91 for example:

At the bottom of the page there are CA legal options that you add to the shopping cart along with your rifle choice

and that's about all there is to it. The CA option price includes the labor to make the rifle CA legal. ( Install wrap, remove flash hiders, etc )

                    Yeah.

Parabellum Combat Systems makes extended safeties, which are occasionally in stock at hkparts.net or robertrtg.com.

Yes we would make the rifle legal by installing a Grip wrap and blocking it to a 10 / 30 mag.

You guys are killing me -I don’t need to spend more money!

Although I kind of wish these (like the Omegas that you sell)had a proper length short MP five barrel with the three lug and the fake suppressor pinned on- so when I get out of this freaking state I could just get my tax stamp and drill the pin.

But.... back to reality..since I’m gonna be stuck here for a while -16 inches of barrel ballistically is going to be a lot better.

I can always slide a fake can over it to get rid of that nasty skinny barrel look.

I’m normally not a huge fan of fake cans but on some iconic SMG designs like this one-the long skinny barrel look just is a dealbreaker for me.

Also good to know the PTR’s forend on this carbine can be swapped for factory HK furniture if you like-according to another video I watched.

Although the PTR forend is starting to grow on me.

I have been eyeballing Scorpion carbines, but truth be told I still think I’d rather have one of these.
