    Burris AR-332 Prism sight

I picked up a NIB Burris AR-332 prism sight today for $180. Just mounted it to my AR15A4.

The sight has black (default) and illuminated green and red reticles and 3x magnification. So far, just looking through it in my garage, I like it. I'll bore sight it tomorrow in my backyard and dry fire on the squirrels that are always snacking at the bird feeder, then off to the range this week or next to really sight it in.

It has a lengthy aluminum sun shade that can screw off. I'll try it both ways. Since I'm not planning on going to war with this set up, only shooting steel out to 550 yds, weight is not an issue. I like that even if the battery runs down, you still have the non illuminated black reticle.

    Should be fun.

My son has one on his AR. Yes it works very well without batt installed. He keeps it that way.
Holds zero and glass is clear when it's cold/wet outside. I think it is over 5 years old. Solid sight

You did GOOD for the $..

I shot with it once and hated how fat the reticle was. Otherwise, great value for the optic. Still, I prefer the acss prisms.
In case it wasn't obvious, nothing I write here should be interpreted as legal advice.

Bought one a couple years ago when I was looking to buy a fast-fire 3. Burris had a promotion, if you bought the AR-332, fast-fire was free.

Was pleasantly surprised with the AR-332. Have it on an AR I use for new shooters.

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.
