Worthwhile upgrades for Thorsden FRS-15 GEN III ENHANCED STOCK KIT

I've got 2 featureless AR's I will be building up after handling a thorsden ar-15 stock recently.

I'd like them to be as ergonomic as possible as I noticed a bit more distance in trigger reach.

What are some recommended safety/mag release/trigger guard/etc upgrades?

Not sure what the pro's/con's are for the rifle vs carbine buffer, I'd like to be able to use both 20 inch and 16 inch uppers with either lower.

I'd say biggest upgrade is make sure you have short throw safety selectors or better yet the push button safety like a ruger 10/22. Forget whi sells it but the different hand position makes it almost mandatory.

Our grip and the Thordsen's stock do put your hand further back. I use the Magpul extended mag release because it is inexpensive and it works great.

Also, pretty much any featureless grip keeps you from properly reaching the standard safety with your thumb, so using an ambi safety will help with that. We make one that allows you to position the levers best for you on a featureless rifle. I do like the suggestion of the Elfman Pushbutton Safety, but I know you can't reach it with our grip and I still think it might be an issue to reach with the Thordsen. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Try a Bolt Action Upper you can use your collapsible stock, pistol grip, flashhider and removable mag!

Convert from sprayer to Precision Rifle, might as well make every bullet count considering what CA is in for in the near future with Ammo.

You will still have your Sprayer Upper for the Mutant Invasion.

The Fightlite/Ares SCR is another featureless option (Remington 1100 based stock, proprietary lower and bolt carrier), everything else standard AR.

That looks awesome. But where is the buffer tube?

In the stock much like a semi auto shotgun

I like this Option better than all the others out there today if I want to keep it Semi Auto, I chose to go Bolt

Correct, in fact with two minor modifications you can use Remington 1100 stocks.

I like that. Looks like some old long lost Soviet era postwar gun
