I had 99.5% reliability with Russian ammo with the Mini-30 as it came from the factory: 1 failure to fire in the first 160 rounds. I replaced the firing pin, and had 100% for the next 500 rounds (sold it after that). Newer Mini-30 seem to have a little more FP protrusion than the older ones.Comment

Stainless/wood Mini-30 finally arrived at the LGS, and started 10 jail. Unfortunately, Christmas happened, so it will be the 26th.Comment

Argh!!! I went to see my Mini-30 and asked what time on the 24th my 10 day Commiefornia jail is over...The clerk who handles it forgot to enter the paperwork and start the 10 day. I sat there and stared at hi until he entered it. Now it is the 29th instead of the 24!!! The only good thing is that I have to leave for Oregon Friday, and would not be back until at least the 28th...
In all fairness, they have been swamped, selling as many as 15 to 30 guns a day on some days, and they are just a small local shop. It seems everyone wants to buy before Newscum is sworn in....Comment

LOL!!! Considering I got the Mini-30 in a straight across trade for a gun safe I no longer used or wanted (750 lbs is too much for we to move), I am not going to complain.
He even had his two employees come load it into my truck from the garage, and unload it at his shop.
