Magpul QDM vs QD / Slings

I was looking around for more info about 1, 2 and 3 points sling and found the MS4 with QDM and QD. I never use any sling before and wonder if anyone with the QDM could provide some feed back on whether it is really much easier to use than the QD.

Any comparable or better sling / value than MS4?

Is there a benefit of doing 3 points sling aside from helping you carrying it in ready to shoot with greater comfort? I didn't see anything else but I have never been in combat or use sling so I probably miss many points.
