Need to find an FFL that will do a PPT on a WASR?? HELP!!

    WTF???!!!

I've talked to three different shops, all supposedly "black rifle friendly" and only one will even think of taking on a PPT for an AK style rifle. And they said it would need to be disassembled.

Can anyone recommend an FFL in the Sacramento, Stockton area that will do a PPT with for an AK? Just to reiterate, this is a Henderson WASR-10 and it has a Raddlock magazine lock and a 10 round magazine.

    PLEASE HELP!!

I have been looking at that exact rifle although they're "out of stock", and the owner of Henderson's told me my best bet is to watch the site for when he'll get some in.
When did you purchase yours (If I may ask)?
I know that Bullseye in San Rafael is will ing to do the transfer for me if, and when I can purchase one.

I picked up mine about a month ago. I was told I got the last "California" model that they were going to do for a while. Henderson Defense is a great place to do business with

My bad. I read too fast, and missed the 'PPT' in your post. Sorry about that.

If you can head down to Livermore, J&R Sports Supply will be happy to do it for you. I just did a PPT for my AK on Monday. It was quick and fast, and only cost me $10 for the transfer.

Can you explain this further? Did they actually call the police on you?
