Clearing misfeed rounds with any Maglock device.

Found a new mag manufacture, JE Machine, for my AR15 at a recent local Gun Show. I was able to test and clear several jams very easily on my AR with Maglock device. It seems will work with any Mag lock device because clearing is outside of the Mag Lock device. The bottom of the mag has a large and easy to press and remove the floorplate. Spring, follower and rounds drop right out. Thus no need to fiddle with the Mag Lock device with any tool. Just use your finger. I was able to clear jams, open action, and remove mag very quickly under half a minute. Only available on the short 10 round mags.

The other Mag makers need to make large finger friendly floorplate release.

As long as it is a 10 round mag.

that the entire reason most people moved to featureless, these mag lock devices are garbage and not safe.

IMO least worst way seems to be grip wrap. Basic rifle functions stay the same and quick to revert if SHTF. It would seem if you change the way a rifle operates, you're bringing more parts that can fail into the equation.

And this is coming from a guy who hates non-pistol grips.

I agree. Dropping an adjustable stock and adding a pistol grip wrap was the least of all evils for me.

I agree on all your points regarding Maglock. Its unsafe. Overall i think JE Machine Mags looking promising for those with Mag Locks. I see several OEM like Danial Defense selling with Maglocks.
