Suggestions for a FAL Scope Mount

I bought a couple of Tapcos last generation stripper clip scope mounts, but now have decided to go with a full length mount and will reload through the ejection port. I've read through the FAL files and there are issues with the existing mounts out there, like DSA's etc. Which has held up best for you and what are your recommendations. From another thread I have decided to buy a Super Sniper Scope.

Loading thru your port will be a bitch.

Perhaps you can go manual-cycle (non-semiauto) if you have a grenade launcher gas plug that can close the gas system, then just remove the gas piston. (Don't remove the gas piston without making sure the gas port is closed!!!!!!!!!!) That way you are legal with detachable mags.

I have the DSA scopemount cover on my Imbel/Izzy FAL. I have a 4X ACOG TA01B on it, and it's fine.

Oh thats a cool setup. Works good? If I am right, then I should be able to keep my Tapco scope mount and add high riser rings for a Super Sniper.

Works great, I got the rings at Gun Runners, the rings are 2 1/2 inches from top to bottom.

That is HUGE!! Do you use a cheekrest?

I thought mine had a big gap and got an adjustable kydex cheekrest from Karsten. Works very well and can easily be changed to use iron sights only.
