Nobody should buy this unless they have

    (1) no AR rifles nor lowers at all; or
    (2) at least one legit pistol lower; or
    (3) they have it sent to a gunsmith first to have a 5.5" muzzle extension pinned & welded on it

Would it be legally dangerous to have this upper and a pistol lower AND a rifle lower? I typically keep my ARs disassembled, so would this pose a problem?

i think this is the only legitimate way to do.

if you really did want one you could have it sent to a custom chop that has a pistol lower in house so they can permalengthen it for you before you take delivery.

Permanently lengthening that would be phenomenally stupid.

                    I agree.

If you have both a pistol lower and a rifle lower but wanted this, why can't you just leave this upper attached to the pistol lower? Just wondering, why do you usually keep your uppers and lowers detached? Space issues?

Not if you plan on buying a pistol lower eventually. You can perm attach flashider,, wait to find a lower, then have the flashider removed by ar15 barrels, then send it off to your lower wherever it is waiting out of state for a single shot conversion!! Its not expensive to attach a flashider and then remove it!

Except that such procedure is ridiculously complicated, delayed, and requires paying 3rd parties. That's like disassembling your car and reassembling it every morning to drive to work.
