    AK 10-round magazine source?

I tried using the search and came across only this:

Are there any vendors that offer AK 10-round magazines that don't look like 2 5-rounders welded together?

Absolutely. PM rssslvr, on here. He and JPGlee1 produce solidly welded 10/30 mags.

I'm actually looking for the shorter 10-round magazines. The 30 round mag bodies stick out too far for comfortable shooting from a rest.

Ah. In that case, check Turner's. I've found that they usually have 10rd mags in stock. I used to use those on my PAR-1 back when I was concerned about appearing more PC...

I think CDNN has some too. Just to clarify, are you looking for a mag like the one inserted into this one?

And, it's legal - this is a PAR-1 non-semi-auto wearing furniture from a Romanian parts kit. Nothing illegal about two or even ten pistol grips on a non-semi-auto.

Thanks Gram. That's the one that I'm looking for. I have a polymer 5 round magazine but if I end up fixing the magazine, I don't want to have to reload every 5 rounds.

A little ugly since it's blued, but for $6 one can't complain:

Shipping is fixed at $10. Maybe I should order more than just one.

Do what I did - order one of their TZ quad rifle cases too. You know, the ones that weigh 33lbs UNLOADED and are taller than some people. Same shipping fee.

Getting to walk into the range with a "gun coffin": Priceless.

I picked up a couple of 10 rnd 7.62x39 ak mags from Gunrunners in Duarte, CA.

I believe they are Chinese, but they work really well. Easier to shoot in the prone position.

Give them a call of stop by if you are in the area. The last I checked, they still had a few in stock.
