    Pro Mags OK???

    Hey guys/gals,

Went to the Costa Mesa show Saturday and all they had was those 10/20 round steel mags from Pro Mag. They look decent enough so I'm trying one for my newest rifle. The only split I have is the the follower is green BUT looks cheesy!!! Do these mags work OK???? Did I buy a dud.

I had some tight fit issues with them in my mp 15. In my del ton lower they worked great. To remedy the problem in the mp 15 I put the mag in while holding the the magwell towards a bright light to see where it was rubbing.
A couple of light taps while the mag was laying on its side with a rubber mallett fixed the clearance issue. You can also check the mags against one you know works by measuring with a caliper. Pro mags are fine once you fine tune em if they are tight.

        IW378,

Thanks for your swift reply. Yeah all they had was those Pro Mags at the show. The one I bought fits fine and for the money I couldn't pass it up to try. OK now all it needs is some trigger time.
