I know this came as a shock...suddenly.

Like most of you, I am very fond of this site. And, like most of you, I'd hate to see it cease to exist. However, it seems that highly motivated and capable parties are working, as I type this, to ensure that doesn't happen.

From posts above I know Ramon has had some family issues which make a gun website meaningless in comparison. I've never met him, but I am grateful he made this site and kept the helm during this last stressful year. I hope he is ok and wish him all the best.

I think that based on the efforts afloat the keep CalGuns alive it's likely this site will still be here tomorrow...and the day after...and the day after that...

So everyone relax, don't panic. If Bill and company need our assistance I am sure they'll ask. Otherwise take a deep breath and post about whatever you were going to post about when you first logged in, blissfully unaware.

I'm not doing anything here other than 'connecting wires' and ensuring the right people are talking to the right people. This was apparently already happening when I started making calls.

I think this will all resolve OK, and perhaps even without a hiccough (if Calguns' hosting company and domain provider doesn't louse up a transfer!)

I have been lurking the site for awhile before I registered. If it was not for calguns and the great info. that the people have posted on this site myself and many others would not be aware of oll and compliance with the law. If all this site has done is to clear up the law and make available what I once thought would be illegal then the shooting community is all the better for it. Thanks for all the good info and I hope to see the site survive.
