    450 bushmaster plinking loads

What would be a safe 185gr to 230gr FMJ plinking loads for my new 450 bushy? All the forms I vist cover the 240gr and up very well, but I need help with cheaper bullets that my 1911 likes also. Thanks for the help!

If you can't find load data for those lighter bullets, you can generally assume that a load that uses the same amount of powder as another but with a lighter bullet will have lower pressures. So if there's load data calling for X grains of power with a 240gr bullet, and you load X grains of powder with a 230, the pressure should be lower assuming that the bullet types (lead, plated, jacketed) are the same.

I'm not completely sure as to whether or not there are any other problems that may result from using too light a bullet though.
