M14/M1a question

Conversly, I have a Norinco M14 that works fine with multiple flash supressors (it's a reg'd AW) and muzzle brakes, including Springfield's. I use a USGI castle nut and it works OK, a little tight, have to use the castle-nut pliers to turn the nut the whole way, but it fits and works well (U.S. threads vs. metric on barrel are off, but not by much - screwing nut on carefully the first time re-threads them so they work - at least on mine).Last edited by jas000; 03-29-2009, 4:37 PM.sigpicNRA Life MemberComment
