Any definitive source on selecting correct buffer size for various caliber and length combinations? Does 6.8 SPC (not SPC II) with a rifle length gas system require the same buffer as .556 rifle length?

I like to use the heaviest buffer that will allow the bolt to lock back after last round with the weakest ammo I will be shooting from that platform.GO NAVY -
Bingo!
But, if you are in any, slight doubt, call the heavy metal masters at Sprinco
Manufacturer and Supplier of recoil springs, recoil reducers, gun lubricants, and recoil buffers for firearms. We also perform various coating and gunsmithing services.
And tell them your set up, you ejection pattern, and how your recoil feels. I did and they recommended a fix which is just super for me.Comment
