    Featureless question

Can someone explain the difference between a Battlerail (PSA), shroud, and handguard? Also, do any of these options have any bearing on a featureless build in terms of legality for an AR15 upper receiver. Thank you.

If I understand your question correctly, your rail or handguard will not have any impact on whether or not your rifle is featureless. What you described would be AW criteria for a pistol, but you can't make an AR pistol featureless. Let me know if I read that right!

yes, you answered my question. Thank you.

I didn't know it was only for AR Pistols and that handguards have no bearing on featureless rifles.

          Nevermind
"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet
