Double feed help.

I was at the range today shooting my carbon-15 and the first round didn't chamber all the way, I then tried to extract the round by pulling the handle back, and the round in the chamber never came out and the carrier picked-up the next round, now there stuck and I can open the top to clear it. What can I do to take the rounds out?

Pull the charging handle back and tilt/jiggle the gun till one round falls out. If you have trouble locking the bolt back press on the bottom of bolt catch release. Then just extract the one in the chamber.

I tried but the second round is pushing up against the one in the chamber. Half of it is also inside the magazine.

Thanks guys. I got the rounds out. I had to keep the bolt open and with a real small flat screwdriver for eye glasses I was able to slide the round out of the magazine and let it come free. Then they just came out by tapping the receiver.
