    RRA Entry Tactical upper

is the rear sight removable? will it be like an flat-top upper if taken off?

The way it appears to me in the picture, it is a regular flat-top upper with their own design of carrying handle/rear sight attached. There are thumb screws so it's definitely removable. I guess the advantage of this is you could mount optics without a riser (though it's not hard to find tall mounts or mounts with spacers.)

You should be able to take it off and have a regular flat-top, if you like.

The one in the picture on RRA's website labeled Entry Tactical upper has the RRA tactical carry handle!

If you just picked up one of the PK uppers, it comes with the Dominator 2 mount which has the rear sight built into the mount (not the upper). It's this one here:

Rock River Arms, Inc. offers a complete line of American made, custom built AR15 style rifles.

The mount/sight is easy to remove and you will be left with a standard flat top upper if you do choose to remove it.
