    OLL in San Luis?

Brother in San Luis wants a OLL but I don't know of any dealers that will except/sell lowers. Could someone fill me in on a place I could point my bro.

    Thanks

I live in San Luis Obispo currently, and I just ordered an OLL. Tell your bro to check out the shooting range (www.slosa.org). He needs to talk to Jeff, the rangemaster (who's there on Fridays and Sundays) about AR-15s.

As you can see, I just bought a Mega Gator lower receiver. I bought it from a seller on www.Gunbroker.com, and it's shipping to an FFL in Santa Maria. Use GunBroker's FFL locator and start calling people until you talk to someone willing to help you.

Tell him to check out Professionals Choice in Atascadero they handle them and may have them in stock.

          Wow, So Many!

It's good to know that there are so many forum members in SLO County. I didn't know. Glad you are here to keep me company.

That's where I go. My friends and I cleaned him out, and last time I asked (about a month ago) he hadn't ordered any more. His prices are kind of high, but if you ask he will surely order them for you.

I also know a guy who ordered his OLL through the guy at the SLOSA, and I think his price was cheaper than Professionals Choice.

I've already got all the lowers I'm looking for but I just wanted to step in and say it's awesome to see that there are now so many FFLs transfering, selling, and stocking them.

                    Hey -007-,

Who did you go through and what did they charge? When I bought my OLL's, had to go all the way to Taft. Would like to buy some more. Thanks for the help...

You guys need to come by the SLOSA range on Thursday nights and say "Hi" to me! Any construction concerns/parts you have/need, I can also handle.

I'm usually there on Sunday's shooting, so Jeff or I can help your AR question/needs whatever they are.

I came by last Friday (I think it was) asking all sorts of questions. Jeff was even kind enough to let me shoot a clip through his rifle (which got me totally hooked on that red dot sight). I might've talked to you...

I was originally planning on buying a completed Stag out of state for ~$700, but Jeff's offer was far too good to refuse. I ended up buying a mega gator lower since everyone said it was the best (I'll pick it up 9 days from now). I might stop by slosa tomorrow and chat for a bit. Maybe I can get Jeff to order parts in advance so I can get shooting faster!

Man, I wish I started this thread before I graduated from Poly. +1 for SLOSA. Lots of friendly people there and sometimes you spend more time talking with others than shooting!
