Quick question, to make a kel tec sub Featureless, all that’s required is the grip fin correct? Just wanted to make sure

think you will also need to add some extra length to the rear or front of the rifle. to it also. IIRC the rifle is only 29 or 28 inches when open and ready to fire. CA requires a full 30 inches for center fire rifles.

websites say a lot of things. get an exact measurement of the firearm because the sub 2000 cuts it real close.

The Gen 1 is too short and needs to be extended by about 2".

The Gen 2 with the stock pinned in the farthest extended setting is over the 30" overall length requirement.
Kel-Tec redesigned the stock on the Gen 2 to give it a three position adjustability. The most extended setting (position 3) brings the overall length to over 30".

Most out-of-state vendors pin the Gen 2 stock at the extended setting and add a grip wrap to make it CA legal.
