Any fixed mag route you go, does that mean you have to store/possession/transport it with the mag attached at all times?

Why would anyone be stupid enough to travel with a loaded magazine in their firearm unless they can legally do so? What does having a loaded magazine in your firearm have to do with it being a fixed magazine or not? In Ca., unless you have a CA LTC or are otherwise exempt, it is illegal to travel with a loaded magazine in your firearm period.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

It has always been ok to have mags loaded, they just cant be in the magwell of the firearm. Most people roll up at the rangr bag full of loaded pmags.
Was addressing the fact that now that a mag has to be in the gun at all times someome is gonna make a mistake.

Firearms in bags/cases in trunk or back of the truck cab or SUV, who is looking at your firearms? Mine are really fixed mag so the magazine doesn't come out, always check before moving from safe to vehicle or from range to vehicle. Flagging the chamber is helpful but does not guarantee no rounds in the magazine. The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.Comment
