    engraving 80% thats now 100%

I don't want to start another one of the loooooong 80% threads so i have a simple question, just to make sure my understanding of the law is correct. Here goes. If i had an 80% that i completed to 100% can i still use my own serial and then vol reg it? this would be a rifle with a new mag lock like the freedom fighter. if i remember correctly the DOJ serials start in July correct?

Also, if you just get them engraved but not register your serial numbers, model, etc...you’ll have to obtain their serial number and get that info engraved in addition to your own. Yours would just be “decorative” at that point. So be sure to register.
