Ar15 Compensator question

Can compensators be used on a featureless Ar15? What is the best compensator that reduces muzzle climb, no $$$ limit.

Spikes Tactical Dynacomp is the best I’ve tried. Lantac Dragon worked well also. But too much down force in my mind.

I picked mine up at Schuylerarmsco for $16+ shipping and it's been solid.

You can't go wrong with the $25-35 Strike Industries J-Comp V2 and they also came out with the way too expensive Oppressor that you can slide over the J Comp if you want to be a good neighbor at the range.

I also have an Arson Machine Works A-Hole I picked up cheap for fun that seems to get decent reviews.

I like the Odin Works Atlas, but it's got a price tag on it. I also like it combined with their Blast Shield.

I've run these on my POF uppers for years because they came on them.
They really help with the shoulder numbing 556/223 recoil. Also keeps the muzzle from bouncing shot to shot.
