Knight's Armament just cancelled my order.... Won't ship accessories to CA

I ordered a UK-SAS lower handguard for my RAS setup, and 2 days later they cancel my order via E-mail and it read: "CANT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA.". What the hell is this all about? It's just a damn accessory. Very UNAMERICAN for an American Company not to ship non-regulated parts to other Americans just because of the state.

Send them an e-mail and tell them just how you feel. I would/have.

Not surprised; lots of places won't ship anything to Commiefornication that's gun related. It's just not worth the hassle; hell, CA's own LEAs can't seem to interpret the laws which are written purposely broad and vague to be arbitrarily and capriciously enforced against the left's political enemies (that means us).

Yes, I sent them an e-mail. There is NO REASON for this. None at all. They have just arbitrarily chosen to treat certain Americans like INSURGENTS. Mr. Knight, you are a Traitor.

Picking on the business is the wrong way to go. Get the CA laws changed to be like the rest of the states instead.

They aren't my favorite products anyway...I was issued their rail guards and foregrip in the Marine Corps and I thought it was junk, compared to some of the aftermarket stuff I've seen since.

The little push-button that holds the rail covers in place broke on at least one cover on most of the rifles I saw, allowing the cover to slide up and down the rail.

The foregrip was made entirely of plastic. Now, that would be ok if the rail were plastic too. But the fact is, when you have a plastic part tightly screwed into a metal part, the plastic is going to lose. Every time you pull on that foregrip, you are chewing up the plastic a little bit more. Strong guys could tear it right off the rail and it would be destroyed. I've seen it.

So that pretty much tears it...they don't want to sell to us, fine. There are much better products out there.

Why don't you pick up the phone and ask him yourself. It would be great chance to help him understand his mistake. Email will get pushed off to get a generic answer or form letter response...

What laws? Laws against handguards and rail covers? Don't make "generalized" stupid statements like that.

Major manufacturers don't "make mistakes.". They know what they CAN and CAN'T do. Knight has made a consious choice to push CA into the ocean.
