    Saiga scope mount and scope...

I'm not wanting something original or correct, just for plinking with my failing eye sight. $50 to $75 plus mount that goes on the Saiga side rail. Maybe my actual question should be what scope mount works. I bought one from another calguns member that is apparently for a different mounting rail. Once again I'm not concerned with it being correct as far as country of origin or appearance.

For AK scope mounts there are two versions. One for a regular "AK" mount and the other for the "PSL" mount. As long as it's not the PSL version it will work on your Saiga.

One of these will work on a plinker.

    I recommend these two versions.

69Mach1 thank you very much. I actually have the one you show at the bottom of your post. For the life of me I could not understand how to put it on until I saw your picture with the lever in that position! I do still wonder if I have to use a rubber mallet or something to tap it a little further forward?

Do you remember the Yugo underfolder I did surgery on the night you came over? I took it out and shot it on Saturday. I may take it to the gun show to see if I can sell it this weekend. My work is real slow and I need cash. I put a fake can on it to make it over 30 inches folded.

Check this website out, i held their rails and they feel solid. They have
a low profile one that looks a bit sleeker and i was told to buy the standard mounting one not the quick release. The guy that told me is the cousin of the owner, so Im sure hes not lying. He said the quick release one is not sturdy and can come loose.
