Could be worse. My "build" so far consists of a back-up iron sight, 2 10-rd. magazines, and 300 rounds of ammo. But I'm getting the CompM4 tomorrow, the upper should be here Wednesday and my lower gets out of jail on Saturday...this is the longest week ever, besides my last week in the Marine Corps of course.

I heard my first week in the Army will be pretty long (thanks Chris)! I wish I could get a hold of Del-Ton to cancel my order I have since found the charging handles elsewhere!

Why not order a barrel from Shilen or Pac-Nor?

I was just looking at White Oak Armament they have a fair priced 24" SS Varmint barrel Thinking it might be the one pending thier turnaround time.Anyone recommend this Co. for barrels? Or have experience with these barrels? I know I sound new but I don't know much about the longer range stuff.

I'm in the same boat with my 16" recce build. White Oak quoted me 14 weeks; I guess I have something like 10 left. If you want something quality, accurate, and in stock, check out Lilja:

Oh yeah and my Charging handle is still sitting at Del-Ton somewhere in processing!

Yea, Del-ton is really pissing me of as well. Many other companys have been able to catch up to the demand spike and step up production. I cant say that they have been able to step up at all. Actually Last time i checked ARFCOM, it seems production has slowed to snail pace compaired to many other companys. Now nobody is getting anything becuase they are out of chrome barrels....

I been waiting for my upper since january 1st. Looking at there production levels and people posting order#'s and shipping dates, i have about another 3 months to go........

I pick up my Del-ton lower for another build from RCGE on the 30th. I guess I got lucky on that one! On the other hand I hear nothing but good things about the product. I hope it is worth the wait!

You're lucky you're almost halfway through. All I have is the LPKs and 2 10/20 mags with some ammo, my lower gets out of jail on friday. And after that, its god knows when I can get the upper. And to think I'm being picky, I want a 16" middy.

I'm already having second thoughts, I'm thinking of just getting a mini or saiga while this long wait or till the dealers/manufacturers gets caught up with demand.

                            haha.

                            Funny story...
I used to work at a PWC dealership and we used to make custom CF (boat registration) numbers for our customers on our vinyl cutter. We used to have the vinyl supplier cut the bulk vinyl into 20" rolls that worked for our setup. So, one day I had to place an order to vinyl and had to remind the lady that I needed it cut to 20". She said, "oh that right, you're my 20" guy". My response was, "if I was 20", do you think I'd be working where I am?" bomb chicka bow wow!!

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
