Fixed mag for SL8?
Tags: None -
Almost any rifle can have a screw or pin strategically placed to fix the magazine in place.
You won't find that as a product though as it's not something that a company can simply package up and sell you.
It's something that requires some machining to complete.
On an SL8, I would remove the trigger pack and install a setscrew into the magazine catch to fix the magazine.
That would make it so the magazine release can not be worked without removing the trigger pack.
The trigger pack contains all of the fire control so you are surely "disassembling the action" to be able to remove that magazine.Last edited by ar15barrels; 04-25-2018, 11:02 AM.Randall Rausch

Barrel, sight and trigger work on most pistols and shotguns.
Most work performed while-you-wait. -
Dont drill anything into an HK...Remove the spring from the mag release & replace it with a sold rod. Cheap, easy & reversible. Or you could just sell it to me :-)NRA Lifetime member
