Need help with the AK gas piston rivet

I've found a how-to on removing the rivet, but haven't found anything on installing it. Anybody point me in the right direction?

I've read the gunsgutsandgod.com site numerous times. However there is NOTHING about the gas piston rivet. Hence, my post here. This is about the only thing I could find. It shows the removal, but not the install. http://www.ar15.com/content/page.html?id=76

I havent replace the piston for a US part, but, it is only pinned in you should just be able to thread in the new piston and press the pin back in.

If the new piston requires drilling a new hole, I would thread it in tight, back off a quarter turn and punch it probably at TDC and drill it just undersized and them press the pin back in, file as needed.

        My .02 cents
