FAL: Who Is Selling Them Locally?

Besides Entreprise Arms in Irwindale, are there any other local places selling CA legal FAL's in the LA, OC, San Gabriel Valley area?

    Thanks,

You might want to try Cold War Shooters in Highland. Get the phone number off their site www.coldwarshooters.net The website is for Texas so don't consider what they show on their website to be what they have. Many items that show out of stock or weren't shown on the website was available at the Highland, CA store. They had PTR 91s (HK clone) in stock eventhough the site said they were out.

Not that I know of, other than a FAL that might pop up in a gunshop here or there.

If you want to buy one of the other two Fal brands (DSA or Century), you might consider buying one online or a used one in the WTS section here on Calguns.

I have one on order with Entreprise now. It's been 4+ weeks so far and when I called last week was told it looks like another 4-5 weeks to go. Best bet is to call and see.

I have a FAL for sale/trade. DSA STG58, 40 rounds through it, 18" barrel, black furniture with integral bipod, 5 NIB mag rebuild kits. Make me an offer. I'm trying to get enough for it to buy another PTR. No wait!! In stock!! In my gun safe!!

No, we don't have any rifles in stock - we are still filling backorders from Jan-Feb. If you want one, though, I would recommend placing an order rather than waiting till we get "instock," as that never seems to happen!

We will resume regular store hours on Saturday.

Nice That you can answer people here on the open forum Matt@entreprise.com.
I sent two PMs the last two weeks with no answer on my FAL that's been paid for.
I would appreciate an answer also.

I got one from PRK Arms, which, while Cali-legal, is also more versatile than those sold by Entreprise because the magazine latch is unmodified. There is a shroud that screws in to prevent access without a tool to the release mechanism. However, it can be removed quite easily and you're provided with the one screw that is needed to reattach everything properly. Once this is done, you're good to go in a free state. Until then, you just use the tip of a screw driver to release the mags and nobody can say anything about it because you're using a tool.

As far as I understand it, the Entreprise version uses a cut open receiver to allow you to stripper clip the rounds into the permanently fixed (won't come out with a tool) magazine.

                              Good luck.
