    So what would the AW lower be worth if he were to peddle it at a gun show in Free America? How much of a market is there? Private sales are still legal in Nevada, if I recall correctly.

        What if the registered AW (Armalite M15) is in CA? Owner is CA resident, can it legally be transferred to another CA resident?

        Sorry for a noob question. I was trying to search for an answer on this scenario and can't find a straight answer. Thanks.

          A registered AW can be deregistered and then sold or transferred if it's not listed.

            It's worth full price as a used stripped (or complete) lower. When you swap in the OLL, get your money back by selling the listed lower.

              The only legal use for an Armalite M15 lower in CA is one that's been sawed in half as per ATF requirements for destruction of a receiver and used as a paperweight.
