    B16 bullet button install problem

Anybody have any issues getting the pin to go through in their lower receiver? I cannot get it to fit into the lower without A LOT of force. Am I missing something or maybe the pin just a little off tolerence? The normal pin fits without an issue. TIA!

It can take some pressure. Are you having problems with the hammer pin?

I use center punches to drive the old pin out then leaving the punch in, use it to align the new pin. A little wiggle and a tap from a hammer drives them in.
Never had to break out the arbor press.

also see here. It might help you. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...51#post2193351

A couple taps with a punch, and a hammer should do the trick.

Have various lowers and had no issues isntalling it. The only issue I had was the spring located in the hammer springs on match triggers which must be removed before installing supplied anti-walk pins. If you have to apply excessive force, you are doing something wrong--> misalignment.

I bought a JP trigger that came with anti walk pins, and had no problem. I liked the anti walk pins so I ordered more. When trying to fit them in a standard trigger I ran into this problem. The paperwork that came with the JP anti walk pins said the pin were slightly over-sized and that in some cases the holes would need to be reamed. I'm not sure where B16 gets there anti walk pins, but JP is what Brownell sells and the only anti walk pins I have been able to find.

Have KAC, JP, LMT, RRA, Jewell, JARD, and Geiselle triggers. Had no issues with any of them on the B16 BB. Also the standard triggers had no issues. best rule is to remove the hammer and run the supplied pins through it before installing it.

              yep, always trial fit.

Another good tip is to remove the allen screws and use a 3/32" pin punch to guide it in. It will fit perfectly in the threaded hole without damaging the threads.

Maybe the pin I got is out of spec? It just does not fit... It seems like its maybe a 1/1000's of an inch off... nobody else has had this issue? I just don't want to force it as it just looks larger than the other pin...
