I used search and the lastest post I found on this topic was January 2017 and it was still in a grey area. Any updates on this feature as being featureless with the new regulations?

Angled Foregrip Featureless?

Because the genius's could state you could grip the angled point on the grip like a pistol its still a grey area. And by grey I mean its probably fine as they have ruled on AR Pistols but because we always have to worry about being made a felon use at your own risk. -
nothing has changed"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.
CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ QuietComment

A "forward pistol grip" equates to any grip that is forward the trigger that can be held in a "pistol style grasp". [11 CCR 5471(t)]sigpic
