    Mk18

I'm wanting to do a Mk18 build but have a question. Will the barrel length be greater than 16.0" if I get the 10.3" DD Mk18 upper, add a Surefire SOCOM muzzle brake and a Surefire training suppressor. The training suppressor is 6.2", but I don't know how long it'd be once it's all together.

And, yes I will be permanently attaching the training suppressor to the barrel.

Just get into airsoft. It's probably a heck of a lot cheaper.

What muzzle device do you have on your Scar 17 for the blast diffuser?

Ignoring the BS posts, if your barrel is 10.5 with that trainer you should be at legal length but the issue is being in Ca. I don't know a lot of cops pulling people over but just watch your six. +1 for the cool factor.

The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

The SF training suppressor would have to be permanently welded on to be considered part of OAL.
That would be a pretty neat build!

Did you end up doing this and how did it turn out? I am thinking of moving my 10.3 off my pistol lower into a rifle build and just need to find someone to pin and weld at this point.

Yeah, I?d do a 13.7 build with a warden instead but it?s not a mk18 then. I couldn?t fathom spending that much to handicap and overweight a rifle.
