    Blast Forwarding Device/Linear Compensator/Blast Diffuser

Aside from the BFD from Indian Creek Design, are there any universal products that are compatible with all existing brakes? I know I can buy brakes + accompanying compensators, but if possible, I'd like to avoid having to shell out extra $ for a brake.

I purchased 1/2" and 5/8" BFD's from PA and will try them out in the next couple weeks to see how they work. I also bought a couple VG6 cage devices for existing Epsilon brakes. Figured $60 is better than $290 for Surefire SOCOM brake & Warden BD.

While muzzle device blast shields and flash cans are nothing new in the shooting industry, our Indian Creek Design BFD (Blast Forwarding Device) is unique and unmatched in its ability to allow the user to utilize virtually ANY muzzle device and be able to re-direct all muzzle blast downrange.&nb

Since you seem to be very sparse with your words, maybe you can just provide a link.

Griffin armament makes a "blast shield" that is compatible with mil spec dimension A2 birdcages. That's not truly "universal" but it might still be an option.

I have to laugh every time I read "Blast forwarder" or "Sound forwarder". I mean, OK, you can forward mail, but using "forward" as a verb is just weird to me.

I bought a muzzle brake with a "Blast forwarder" on eBay for less than $30. Not sure how well it works as either a muzzle brake or a forwarder, haven't tried it out yet.

Griffin armament, SilencerCo, Rainier, Fortis, Strike Industries and a lot of others make them. I have the Blast Shield from Gunnar, with stupid emblem, on my welded 14.5” AR with VG6 muzzle brake and it works very well with mitigating the concussive forces thrown to the side.

Gunnar Blast Shield seems to be the exact same product as BFD from Indian Creek, less the logo.

That's a pretty good price. $60 for brake/sleeve is less than what I paid for just 1 BFD.
