That's right. It's mutated in me. I want a BLUE AR with wood furniture. I know I'll get lots of flack for it, but my tastes are my own. Has anyone done it? Of course searching this forum for "blue AR" turns up just about every single thread here. The wood furniture might be hard to come by, but I can at least have the metal parts stripped and blued, right? Black is just so... outdone.

At the very least, I could attempt to craft the wood .... but considering my skills, I'd rather buy it.

You can try to see if Ironwood Designs would be willing to help out with your quest for wood furniture for your Blued AR.

And Koa wood furniture would be sweet. I'd REALLY like it to all be some exotic burl, but we'll see.

If this becomes the new fad you'll be a hero. I wonder how it will look with laminated grips, stock and forearm? I wonder if wood will stop the, "SPROING" sound?
