Is it against forum rules to use a troll thread title to get more views and maybe a response to the actual question? 
Anybody else use a Battle Arms Quick Release Pin on a fixed-mag AR yet? I got one, and I want to like it, but it doesn't work well. Wondering if anyone else has issues. It is supposed to have two functions: one that pulls all the way out for takedown, or you spin it and it pulls out not as far, and has a catch to keep the upper from swinging all the way, just enough to use the armaglock (or similar device). Mine doesn't really catch every time, so it's basically just a regular pin. Today I was doing some other work, pulled the pin, and the whole thing came right out of the lower. Yes there's a detent and spring still in there (the ones that came with the pin), I didn't forget to install those. It's really expensive for a pin, so for it to not even retain seems odd. Did I just get a bad one?
