No, it's under a new class of "Bullet Button" AW. You cannot change to a normal mag release under this method.

So for now, the new class of AW registration means being stuck with the old Bullet Button, on top of all the other burdens of being branded as the suspicious registered owner of an extra-evil assault weapon in CA.
